WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
From 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, this is one of the most traditional wines made by Massimiliano Calabretta. The method is called "Pista e mutta" and consists of crushing the grapes and decanting the must immediately, avoiding contact with the skins as much as possible.
It is made from the youngest vines and the result is a pleasant, crisp wine where freshness and fruit are the distinguishing features for perfect drinking even on hot summer days.
