WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
A straight up, top-tasting chardonnay from the safe hand of Union Scare.
The fruit is from Monterey County and the wine has spent 15 months in French barrels, 60% of which were new barrels.
The wine is a fruity pleasure with pineapple, lemon, pie crust, pear, butyric acid, and a creamy mouthfeel that makes the mouthpiece spin pleasantly.
