WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Notes of Honeycrisp apple and poached pear alongside aromas of preserved lemon and crushed oyster shell. It has a bright and seamless entry that gives way to extraordinary tension, and a hint of brioche. In the glass, orange blossoms and white tea aromas emerge, beautifully delicate but persistent. The fruit is pure and restrained, framed by a spine of acidity, and a beautifully textured palate.
Seared scallops would be a perfect pairing.
TASTING NOTES:
Pouring a youthful medium yellow with green tinges, the 2024 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is vibrant and refreshing and has fabulous vibrancy (as it always does), with notes of lime zest, lemon verbena, green apples, white pineapple, and salinity. It has almost a margarita-like appeal. Medium-bodied, it offers refreshing linear tension without sacrificing concentration. With exuberant energy as well as terrific balance, it has a lot to offer over the coming 15 years.

Appealing for its focus and precision, with crunchy star fruit, lemon sorbet and Cosmic Crisp apple flavors. Freshly grated ginger, celery salt and oregano notes are fragrant and add an appealing savory detail on a firm, juicy and energetic frame, with plenty of torque on the long finish.
