First introduced with the 2008 vintage, A Quo is an affordable expression of the estate’s unique aesthetic. The wine is blended from all the estate’s fruit, and raised in neutral wood.
TASTING NOTES:
Dark cherries and strawberries with fresh sage and thyme aromas follow through to a medium body with fine tannins and a crunchy finish. Savory and delicious with lovely energy and drinkability. A blend of 45% sangiovese, 35% cabernet sauvignon, 10% malvasia and 10% other varieties. Precise and yummy.

The 2024 A Quo, a blend of 45% Sangiovese, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malvasia Nera, and the balance other varieties, pours a jeweled purple/ruby hue and is immediately appealing on the nose, with notes of Amarena cherry, dark stone, fresh herbs, and a strong sense of clarity and freshness. Medium-bodied, it offers a lightly chalky texture, refined tannins, refreshing acidity, and an approachable fruity profile. Aged for five months in older wood, it balances fruit and vibrant structure with ease.

The Montepeloso 2024 A Quo is a blend of 45% Sangiovese, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malvasia Nera and 10% other complementary grapes, fermented in stainless steel and aged in second- and third-fill barrels. Lifted and energetic, the wine delivers bright fruit with touches of light spice and dried flowers, maintaining a lively, easygoing profile. Shaped by Suvereto’s coastal influence and mineral-driven soils, this bottling is intentionally primary and vibrant, engineered for immediate pleasure alongside a classic plate of spaghetti aglio e olio.
