Then the realization of the stretched finessed tannins, great acid and lingering palate is actually fighting and clawing its way back INTO your palate and just won’t let go. Almost as if its telling you “I’m not done yet, sweetheart!”
TASTING NOTES:
Elegant and spicy, with a silky texture and mouthwatering acidity and tannins. Red and black tea, savory mountain herbs, tobacco and crushed roses on the palate. Really good. Drink or hold.

From two Rattlesnake Hills sites, this Cabernet Sauvignon stays true to the variety, offering plenty of herbal freshness alongside lovely red and black fruits. This wine was sourced from the Schmidt and Portteus Vineyards. Aromas of desert pine, wild lavender and currant jam alight the glass. The palate offers fresh red berries, dried strawberries and mint with notes of clove and star anise. It's fresh and delicious and perfect for food.
