WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Trig Point Zinfandel The Railyard 2023 is a bold and elegant red wine from Alexander Valley in Sonoma County, California. Made mainly from Zinfandel with a small amount of Petite Sirah, this wine offers deep color, rich fruit, and smooth structure. It shows aromas of fresh blackberry, raspberry, baked red fruit, cedar, cinnamon, plum, and savory herbs. On the palate, it is smooth, flavorful, and well-balanced with bright acidity, fine tannins, and a soft, lush finish. This Zinfandel pairs well with barbecue ribs, grilled steak, burgers, roasted pork, spicy dishes, and aged cheeses.
TASTING NOTES:
This Zinfandel displays rich aromas of baked raspberry, toasted hazelnut, cinnamon and sour cherry on the nose. The palate gives flavors of rich black plum, pithy orange peel, savory herbs and flowers in an opulent tannic framework.
