WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
After six months in a charred bourbon barrel, this rich red wine gives way to smoky vanilla notes and a juicy dark fruit profile. The nose offers aromas of smoky blackberry jam, vanilla spice, black cherry, fig, leather, and a hint of tobacco.
On the palate, the wine has a good entrance and is full-bodied with fine tannins and a long finish. A juicy dark fruit profile is layered with a hint of sweetness from the oak, remaining fresh, bright, and well-balanced throughout.
