A rich, deep and complex wine that interprets what was a particularly warm and sunny year. The taste reveals a great balance due to a high natural acidity that gives a pleasant freshness and firmness.
TASTING NOTES:
The nose glistens with tangy, tart, earthy aromas of cranberries, blood orange, cedar box, cracked black pepper and cumin, while the palate provides balance with super sweet, tiny wild blueberries drizzled in milk chocolate, before the earthy, tangy spiciness of the nose returns. Fierce tannins and vibrant acid add energy.

Linear and restrained, this offers aromas of ripe blackberries, walnuts and hints of cedar and crushed stones. Medium-bodied with a fine texture and lively acidity holding the fruit in check. Bright, juicy and fresh, with a solid frame of polished tannins. Drink or hold.

The 2023 Noi4, a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, pours a deep purple hue and is notably expressive in this vintage. Aromas of black cherry cordial, framboise, cedar, floral perfume, and wet stone lead into a full-bodied yet focused palate. It shows well-defined tannins, refreshing acidity, and a balanced, gravelly structure through the finish. This represents a compelling step up in clarity and precision, with both ripeness and freshness well-aligned. Drink 2026-2038.

The 2023 Noi 4 is plump, juicy and super-expressive. A burst of dark cherry/plum fruit, spice, new leather, incense and sage makes a strong first impression. This bold, flavorful Bolgheri red delivers the goods. It is also a terrific introduction to the range. What a delight.
