Continue ShoppingTo help protect your wine during periods of extreme heat, we may place orders on a weather hold when temperatures are not suitable for safe transit.
Customers may choose to:
• Hold their order until weather conditions improve.
• Request complimentary cool packs.
• Upgrade to FedEx 2-Day Air or Overnight service for an additional charge.
• Authorize shipment via standard ground service despite weather conditions.
Please note that cool packs provide limited protection and cannot prevent heat damage during prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
If you choose to ship via standard ground service after being advised against it, Woods Wholesale Wine cannot be responsible for heat-related damage that occurs in transit. However, if we release an order when conditions do not meet our shipping standards, we will assume responsibility for any resulting heat damage.
All orders require an adult signature upon delivery. We are not responsible for heat damage, spoilage, or other issues resulting from missed delivery attempts or packages left unattended after delivery.
Orders placed on weather hold will remain in our climate-controlled warehouse until weather conditions improve or until we receive alternate shipping instructions from you.
2023 Neyers Vineyards 304 Chardonnay, Sonoma County, USA (750ml)
WINEMAKER NOTES:
The finished wine is complex, with a long and gratifying finish, making it especially enjoyable alongside Barbara’s sautéed, breaded chicken breasts served with fresh lemon wedges. During Alaskan halibut season, her mesquite-grilled filets paired with homemade tartar sauce offer another perfect match for this delicious Chardonnay.
TASTING NOTES:
Intense and stylish, with a core of Meyer lemon, pear and dried pineapple that's generous, juicy and sleek. Details of brioche, lemon blossoms and crunchy sea salt minerality linger alongside a whiff of lemon verbena.
- Wine Spectator, 92 pts.
This steel-fermented wine offers good acidity and refreshing qualities without an excess of buttery, toasty elements from oak barrels. It was aged on the lees for a nuanced, toasty, minerally effect and is generous in tangy apple, pineapple and lime zest flavors.
- James Suckling, 90 pts.
