WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2023 Nestweaver Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir opens with a compelling aromatic profile—wild strawberry, red cherry, and crushed raspberry—lifted by coastal herbs, rose petal, and a faint suggestion of citrus peel. There’s a cool edge that speaks clearly of the Pacific influence, lending freshness and precision.
On the palate, the wine is layered, driven by vibrant natural acidity and fine-grained tannins that feel woven rather than imposed. Red fruit remains at the core, joined by pomegranate, blood orange, and subtle forest floor notes—dried tea leaves and a hint of savory spice. The mid-palate shows restraint and clarity, favoring transparency, with texture building gradually as the wine moves across the tongue.
The finish is long, energetic, and mineral-inflected, leaving impressions of red fruit, gentle earth, and lifted freshness. This is a Pinot Noir that values balance and site expression—harmonious now yet structured to evolve gracefully over the next several years.
