WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Pian delle Vigne Rosso di Montalcino is ruby red in color. The nose delivers fresh hints of red fruit especially black cherries that lead over to Sangiovese’s typical aromas of blood oranges and delicate hints of spices. The palate is vibrant, supple with silky tannins. Notes of strawberries and blood oranges accompany a long persistent finish.
TASTING NOTES:
Vinous and fragrant nose of strawberries and fresh violets with touches of cinnamon, rhubarb and pepper. Light-bodied on the palate, it shows drinkability, silkiness, crisp acidity and a graceful aftertaste.

A youthful medium red hue, the 2023 Rosso Di Montalcino is expressive and ripe out of the gate, with notes of baked red cherries, leather, and balsamic herbs. Plush and inviting, the palate is ripe with pliant tannins and medium to full-bodied richness. It's delightful now and will drink well over the coming 5-6 years.
