WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Deep ruby in color, the 2023 Iron Corral Cabernet Sauvignon opens with inviting aromas of anise, Santa Rosa plum, tobacco, and a hint of chicory. On the palate, a firm backbone of tannin supports flavors that echo the nose—bright red fruits, tobacco, and anise—layered with warm, savory notes. The finish balances richness with fresh fruit, creating both warmth and vibrancy in each sip.
Blend: 99% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot
TASTING NOTES:
A really substantive, structured and delicious wine that's full-bodied but not over the top in ripeness. Aromas of black cherries, black olives and sage lead to a generous palate with red and black fruit, subtle oak spices and velvety tannins that give a good, light grip to the texture. Drink now or hold.
