WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Ruby red with aromas of ripe plums, wild berries, licorice and violets. Medium-bodied, fresh and harmonious with a long, balanced finish. Perfect with pappardelle al cinghiale or bistecca alla fiorentina. Serve at 18 °C (64 °F); cellaring potential up to 10 years.
TASTING NOTES:
A spicy nose of tea leaves, moist earth, stones, dark cherries and currants. Juicy and savory, with tense cedar flavors, a medium body and firm yet polished tannins. Dusty and textured finish. From organically grown grapes. Sustainable. Drink or hold.

The 2023 Ad Astra is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc Succulent dark fruit, liquorice, cloves, chocolate and sweet French oak are all dialed up. This extroverted red is both showy and impeccably done.
