WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Elegant Cabernet Franc from gravel soils, aged in ampohora vessels. Expresses the terroir of Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. It pairs wonderfully with grilled fish, charcuterie, white meats, and almost all cheeses.
TASTING NOTES:
The fragrant bottling opens with aromas of raspberry and black tea accented by hints of cedar plank and dried cherry flakes. The palate echoes the nose in like proportion with a reserved fruit core that is comfortable with its savory character. This terroir-forward wine is a versatile food partner.
