WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The BACA Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine sourced from Napa Valley vineyards, including several located in the most revered Napa Valley sub-appellations. This blend was crafted to be a delicious wine that is accessible for everyday enjoyment.
The wine has a dense hue of violet, and aromas of ripe cassis, lavender and warm blackberry pastries. The palate offers dense briar fruit, fine accessible tannins, and a touch of oak from aging lending a fresh expression of the varietal. This is a wine crafted to be enjoyed and cherished early in its life.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of cherry, cranberry and toasted spices waft from the glass of this Zin. The palate shows flavors of raspberry coulis, fig compote and currant in a full-bodied, powerful structure. The wine feels a bit tannic now, but a short stay in the cellar should soften the edges.
