WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Intense red plum in color. Rich, dark berry fruit at its core with a savoury edge of wild herbs, graphite and cedarwood shavings on the bouquet. Beautifully balanced and stylish with classic cultivar expression on the palate; the savoury finish is long and satisfying. Perfect with ribeye steak, grilled or slowcooked lamb with rosemary and thyme, braised beef short rib, chargrilled cheese burgers, mature cheddar and gouda, and creamy blue such as gorgonzola.
TASTING NOTES:
This juicy red has aromas of blackberries, black currants, graphite and tobacco. It’s full-bodied, balanced and dark-fruited with medium tannins. Drink now or in the next few years.
