WINEMAKER NOTES:
The wine offers a beautiful bouquet of cassis, blueberries, flowery incense, tobacco leaf, sandalwood, and violet-like nuances. This wine exudes dark mocha, black currant and cassis flavors, coming together in a seamless, opulent style. Drinkable now, but we expect it to continue to refine over the next 15 years.
TASTING NOTES:
Sourced from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, this Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 28 months in 100% new French oak. Bacio Divino first produced a wine from this legendary site in 2004, with fruit sourced from blocks closer to Highway 29. A highly expressive and aromatic wine, it showcases pure red berry fruit, complemented by a cool wet slate character on the mid-palate. The fine-grained tannins are accented by dark cocoa nib nuances and perfumed violet tones, leading to a long, elegant finish.
