The Januik Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made from a short list of vineyards considered to be among the best in the state; including Ciel du Cheval, Champoux, Weinbau, Lady Hawk and Obelisco vineyards. The diversity of these vineyards represent many of the most mature, carefully managed sites in Washington. Together, they provide for a full range of fruit expression that allows Januik to craft complex, multi-layered wines true to Columbia Valley terroir as well as the varietal character of the grapes.
TASTING NOTES:
Rich, dark-fruited red with ripe blackberries, baked cherries and hints of cedar and chocolate. Some tarry nuances, too. Full-bodied with a velvety texture, it’s structured and nicely framed. Lingering and focused. Drink or hold.
