WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Our flagship Cabernet owes its name to the three Cabernet clones grown on our two Estate Vineyards; 6, 15, and 337, that create the core of this delicious wine. Each clone adds unique character, complexity, and depth to the Cabernet. We craft our Three Clones Cabernet with the end goal of presenting a wine that is incredibly balanced; showing well in it’s youth, but with the ability to age beautifully for years to come.
Raspberry, cocoa, star anise, and dusty French oak on the nose with a textured mid-palate bursting with dark plum, juicy cherries, bitter chocolate, iron, and dried herbs. Finely etched tannins are present throughout providing structure and extending the generous finish that hints at notes of coffee and dark chocolate.
TASTING NOTES:
Broad, rich and saturated, this red is full to the brim with chocolate, roasted cherry and oak spice flavors on a full, lavish body. Dark plums, cocoa, iron and star anise develop as you sip and then linger in the finish. Drink now or hold.

The flagship Cabernet Sauvignon of the Gibbs Estate is crafted from clones 6, 15, and 337, grown across their two estate vineyards. Each clone contributes a distinct element—aromatic complexity, tannic structure, and fruit richness—resulting in a harmonious blend. The wine was aged for 24 months in 35% new French oak. Perfumed red- and black-toned fruits intertwine with sweet mulling spices on the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, it offers dark-toned fruit, a hint of Sichuan pepper, and very fine, gentle tannins that glide effortlessly to a satisfying finish.
