WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2022 Warrior is bold and unwavering, offering a complex aromatic profile, with layers of white pepper, raspberry jam, and dried strawberry, balanced by earthen hints of clay pot and tobacco leaf. Subtle accents of apricot, seasoned sweet oak, and a cool, mineral note reminiscent of a limestone cave, bring depth and nuance. On the palate, the wine shows vibrant acidity that accentuates the fruit, while fine grained tannins enrich the wine’s texture. The mid-palate has a wonderfully subtle grippiness that leads into a muscular finish that is balanced, and persistent.
TASTING NOTES:
Black currants and black berries, with a transparency that lets beautiful pine needles and sage shine through. Full-bodied with a very fine velvet texture. Extremely long and delicious. Intense finish. Amazing length The owner is Hundred Acre, and it’s coming through clearly. Drink or hold.
