Milan Nestarec cooked up this gorgeous red as a cheeky rebellion against the over-complicated winemaking trends that swept through the Czech Republic after 1989. Blending Blaufrankisch, Blauer Portugieser, and Pinot Noir, Nach tells the story of a seriously wild vintage. Early on, the grapes weren’t looking promising, with super high acidity and zero sugar. But then? Boom! Mid-September brought a magical transformation where sunshine saved the entire harvest.
