WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Aromas of cherry juice, star anise, nutmeg, vanilla bean and pomegranate notes. Flavors of Bing cherry, Danish Zoute drops and Guatemalan coffee. Taut texture, vibrant with a buoyancy that glissades across the palate with only a youthful bounce of fine tannin.
TASTING NOTES:
This Cabernet that is blended with about 20% Malbec displays a complex nose, with aromas of cassis, cranberry, plum and sage. The palate is a juicier affair, with mouthwatering acidity in balance with richer structure. The finely textured tannin here will pair marvelously with well-marbled cuts of grilled steak.
