Winemaker Notes:
Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno is an old school estate that is back on the rise in Piedmont. One of the oldest estates in Piedmont and the first estate on the now famed Cannubi hill. The estate has always remained in the family, but current owner and winemaker Emanuela has been steadily taking this historic estate to new highs.
The vineyards in which the Nascetta is planted sits at 260-300 meters above sea level in sand and clay soils. Manually hand harvested, this wine is aged with the lees in stainless steel vats before resting in the bottle for 6 months.
Fruity notes of citrus and exotic fruit blend with hints of acacia honey. Great complexity intertwining mineral and herbal notes. Finishes long and persistent with incredible structure and acidity.
