But folks in NZ know it’s the best, particularly from certain sites, like we have the honour of sourcing from in Te Awanga. Like Pinot Noir, the great Chardonnays of the world are wines of tension. Hawke’s Bay and this Te Awanga site provides this with its sun-drenched fruit coupled with the cool nights and long growing season.
