WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Ripe cherry and raspberry with floral hints, spice, earthy notes, silky tannins, and bright acidity.
TASTING NOTES:
The 2020 Pinot Noir is complex and concentrated with fine layers of flavor. Initially, there's plum and fruit cake joined by earthiness and smoky notes of quality French oak. The wine has a savory quality and an appealing dryness of tannin that gives it an Old World personality. The finish is focused, long and fragrant, with a scent reminiscent of Earl Grey tea lingering. While still young, there are the first signs of early evolution, and with a nice duck breast or piece of rare lamb, I'd happily crack it open now.
