WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Benanti Contrada Cavaliere Rosso is a pale ruby color. On the nose, aromas of red fruit merge with warming herbs and spices. The palate is dry, medium- to full-bodied and structured with ripe tannins and a persistent, harmonious finish.
TASTING NOTES:
A lovely nose of crushed red cherries, fresh roses and crushed herbs. Medium-bodied with firm yet elegant tannins. Well balanced, with a pleasantly nuanced and subtle approach. Sour cherry and green strawberry. Still a bit tight. Best after 2025.
