WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Deep ruby. Aromas of cassis, blue and purple berries, and licorice, with a hint of violets and amaretto. Full-bodied with cassis, black raspberries and chewy tannins with a long, rich finish.
Blend: 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot
TASTING NOTES:
From the winery’s estate vineyard in the Adelaida District on the large region’s western flank, this bottling will last for many years. Charred meat, cocoa, milk chocolate and baked elderberry aromas entice the nose. The palate is tightly wound in texture, with long- lasting tannins that uphold violet, purple fruit and nutty cocoa nib flavors. Best After 2024
