WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Ciaurìa is accompanied by dishes of land, of all seasons, typical of Etna, and careful service temperature, even a few fish dish.
TASTING NOTES:
A medium-bodied red with aromas of stewed and dried strawberries, grapefruit zest, dried herbs, five spice and ash. More juicy red berries, citrus peel and herbal notes on the palate, framed by medium, silky tannins. Better from 2022, but already a joy to taste.

A pretty yet spicy bouquet of peppery wild herbs, roses and young strawberries rises from the 2019 Etna Rosso Ciauria. It’s fleshy in feel yet full of energy, as ripe red berries and minerals cascade across a core of zesty acidity. There’s so much lively personality and vivid fruit here as the Ciauria finishes with fresh blueberry and blackberries under an air of wet stone. Drinking window: 2021 - 2025
