WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Born from our Animaná vineyard in Cafayate, above 5,500 feet. With calcareous, stone, and sandy soils, this blend of 5 grapes it is here to prove the potential of this unique terroir. With a deep cherry red color, it has notes of menthol, cherries, tobacco, spices and truffle. Complex both on the nose and the mouth, it has a refreshing acidity and silky tannins. Full-bodied and structured, notes of cassis appear on the palate with a long finish. It is distinguished by its complexity and elegance.
TASTING NOTES:
The 2019 Cab Five is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 8% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Ancellotta from Cafayate, Calchaqui Valley and was aged for 12 months in barrels. A dull garnet red in the glass. The intense, complex nose offers a combination of the different varieties involved with notes of oak, bay leaf, hints of paprika, bell pepper and jammy aromas. Relaxed and quite smooth initially, the oak and tannins bring grip, while the precise freshness ensures sustained flavor.

Ripe plums, blackberries, sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and toasted oak. Juicy and succulent with medium body and chewy tannins. Rich finish. 65% cabernet sauvignon, 20% merlot, 8% malbec, 5% cabernet franc and 2% ancellotta. Drink or hold.
