WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
This wine is a photograph of Nebbiolo. It IS Nebbiolo! It shares the structure, perfumes and elegance of a Barolo, but with grace and flair holds your hand and accompanies you for the whole meal.
TASTING NOTES:
Opening to a medium ruby color, the G.D. Vajra 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo is beautifully balanced to deliver an informal drinking style, but it also hints at the enormous complexity that is inherent to this mighty grape of Piedmont. The bouquet reveals cassis and wild berry, crushed rose and lavender. However, the mouthfeel is precise and linear, thanks to those drying mineral notes.
