WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Blackberry, clove, vanilla and herbal notes. Extraordinary, intense and complex. Rich in tannins with an explosion of flavor, Arnaldo Caprai Sagrantino di Montefalco Collepiano DOCG is best understood when enjoyed with a wonderful piece of roasted meat, preferably one with a bit of fat content, game and aged cheeses.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of dark cherries and red plums with dried herbs, spices, bark and nutmeg on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied, dry and a little chewy with firm, chalky tannins and juicy dark fruit. Layered and structured. Drink or hold.
