WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2018 vintage is widely regarded as excellent on the Right Bank, producing wines with rich fruit, supple tannins and strong ageing potential, particularly in Merlot-dominant appellations like Pomerol.
The wine opens with generous aromas of black cherry, plum and blackberry, layered with notes of violet, cocoa and subtle spice. On the palate it is medium-to-full-bodied and plush, with silky tannins and ripe dark fruit supported by balanced acidity. There’s a smooth, velvety texture throughout, leading to a long, refined finish with gentle savoury undertones.
