Some meaty aromas across ripe blackcurrants, blueberries and gently tarry notes. The palate has a strong core of smoothly grippy tannins and abundant blackcurrants. Give this another year or two. Try from 2020.

This is blended with 14% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot, the whole given 20 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak. It shows bright floral aromatics and bold flavors of blueberry, cinnamon and clove. The texture is soft and well integrated, with a light finish.

A great vintage for Cabernet in Napa Valley, this 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of nutmeg and vanilla bean. The wine showcases complex fruit flavors of black cherry, plum, blueberry, and a hint of caramel apple. The rich and balanced mouthfeel finishes with a mocha flavor and velvety tannins.
