WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
A Blaufränkisch that reflects the essence of the Leithaberg.
Our Blaufränkisch wines come from two outstanding vineyard sites: Glawarinza and Thenau. Both are known for their unique soil structures and microclimates.
Glawarinza – a sunny, warm location with calcareous soil that gives the wine depth and complexity.
Thenau – steep, mineral-rich limestone soil and cool winds from the Leithaberg forest characterize the freshness and structure of this wine.
These two sites provide the perfect basis for a Blaufränkisch that impresses with its typical spiciness, an elegant tannin structure and a lively acidity.
Goes well with: game, beef, spicy vegetable dishes, mature cheese or a long evening by the fireplace.
