WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Guigal's Gigondas is an incredible introduction to serious Southern Rhône reds, and a show-stopper at the price. In the hands of Guigal, the rich ripe fruit and savory character of the wine bursts with sheer pleasure, yet the wine displays terrific refinement, complexity, length and ability to age.
Blend: 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre
TASTING NOTES:
Smolderingincense and sweet red fruit introduce this ripered, with a plush, glossy texture and elegance despitethe ripeness. Mulberry and juniper detail the smoky,graphite-edged finish, which is firm and focused. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.

The Guigal family crafted an elegant, attractive 2021 Gigondas that offers aromas of lilac, flowers, mulberries and dark berries. Medium- to full-bodied, sappy and suave, it’s enrobing, with a juicy core of fruit, sweet tannins and good depth at the core, concluding with a long, perfumed finish.
