TASTING NOTES:
Deep ruby with a bright rim. Aromas of smoky dark berries, cherry pit and licorice are lifted by a peppery note and a suggestion of fresh violet. Shows good energy and thrust on the palate, offering gently sweet blackcurrant and cherry flavors and a touch of medicinal bitterness. Clings with good intensity on the finish, which is firmed by dusty, slow-building tannins.
