WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Bright crimson, a nose of red fruits and fresh strawberries; a round, greedy and ample mouthfeel. With its bright, spicy red fruit aromas, this wine is exciting just to smell. Add to that flavors of raspberry and cream, a lush texture, generous weight and a long, spicy finish, and you have the complete package: it offers a fruity, easygoing palate that rewards early consumption. Pair with Grilled beef and lamb mice, Grilled lobster with butter and rosemary, Brie de Meaux, Roasted pumpkin, thyme and garlic.
TASTING NOTES:
A elegant red with notes of red berries, dried thyme and baking spices on the nose, follow through to a medium body with fine tannins. It has a juicy core of fruit on the palate with freshness and balance. Pure with a fruity finish. 60% grenache, 15% syrah, 20% mourvedre and 5% cinsault. Drink or hold.

Moving to the 2021s, the 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape is 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah, and the balance Cinsault brought up mostly in foudre. It has the fresher, almost crunchy style of the vintage and offers a Burgundian bouquet of black cherries, redcurrants, peppery garrigue, and sandalwood. Medium-bodied, lively, and fresh on the palate, it has nicely integrated acidity, fine tannins, and outstanding length. It's terrific today yet should evolve for a decade.
