To help protect your wine during periods of extreme heat, we may place orders on a weather hold when temperatures are not suitable for safe transit.
Customers may choose to:
• Hold their order until weather conditions improve. • Request complimentary cool packs. • Upgrade to FedEx 2-Day Air or Overnight service for an additional charge. • Authorize shipment via standard ground service despite weather conditions.
Please note that cool packs provide limited protection and cannot prevent heat damage during prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
If you choose to ship via standard ground service after being advised against it, Woods Wholesale Wine cannot be responsible for heat-related damage that occurs in transit. However, if we release an order when conditions do not meet our shipping standards, we will assume responsibility for any resulting heat damage.
All orders require an adult signature upon delivery. We are not responsible for heat damage, spoilage, or other issues resulting from missed delivery attempts or packages left unattended after delivery.
Orders placed on weather hold will remain in our climate-controlled warehouse until weather conditions improve or until we receive alternate shipping instructions from you.

DISTILLER'S NOTES:
Distilling Bourbon is classically American, which is why we named this whiskey Featherbone Bourbon after the innovative product once manufactured in this building a century ago at a time when manufacturing in Michigan was synonymous with American made. The Featherbone was a revolutionary product created and manufactured in Three Oaks by E.K. Warren, a staunch prohibitionist. Today, we create a quite a different kind of Featherbone at Journeyman and find it ironic to be operating a grain-to-bottle distillery in this once “dry” community. We hope that E.K. would find it in good spirits to see us carrying the torch for manufacturing into the 21st century.
TASTING NOTES:
Bold and assertive, youthful, earthy flavors, nutty notes, spirituous, cereal notes, peanut butter, sweet, caramel, vegetal qualities – warming on the palate.
