WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2024 Mr. Pink rose is bright with lifted aromas of fresh-picked strawberries, raspberry, and subtle stone fruit nuances. The luxurious texture unfolds on the palate, balanced by refreshing acidity and minerality. Flavors of blood orange, juicy watermelon, and cantaloupe create a bright and sophisticated expression that ends with a mouthwatering finish.
Blend: 88% Sangiovese, 6% Grenache, 6% Mourvèdre
TASTING NOTES:
The answer is "because you want to be revered as one of the consistently best rosé values around." This year's Mr. Pink is packed with aromas and flavors of apples, pink grapefruit and lime zest. There's also a little note hovering in the background that reminded me of salted caramel. The wine's texture is smooth and plush as a $5 milkshake.
