WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Vespolina has a brilliant red color; the nose offers an intriguing combination of spices, pepper, cardamom, cloves, and ginger. Redcurrant, blueberry, and raspberry are complemented by subtle floral notes of iris. The palate is deliciously fresh and flavorful, with a spicy finish.
TASTING NOTES:
The 2024 Colline Novaresi Vespolina is a super-classy wine. Sage, mint, licorice, pomegranate and wild cherry soar from the glass as the 2024 shows off its gorgeous depth and striking purity. Bright acids carry the finish effortlessly. This bold, punchy Vespolina has it all. It’s a terrific effort from Davide Carlone.
