WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The wine shows a bright ruby-red color with an intense floral bouquet. On the palate, it is fresh and fruity, with sweet, well-integrated tannins. It pairs beautifully with simple warm starters, pasta dishes, and both red and white meats.
TASTING NOTES:
Opening to a medium-ruby color, the Parusso 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo Ël Sartù shows bright primary fruit with a focus on cherry and blackcurrant. Those fruit aromas are followed by tarry spice and smoke, but primary aromas take the leading role. This wine is much lighter on its feet compared to past vintages, and its more nuanced approach works for me.
