WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Cashmere originated as a one barrel donation to Hospice du Rhone. The blending of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre is practiced in many winemaking regions and especially well known in the Rhone Valley of France and in Austrailia. Each variety makes it's own contribution to the blend and the result is delicious.
TASTING NOTES:
Loaded with pepper and rubbed sage notes up front, this savory rendition is balanced by a perky core of cherry and wild strawberry. Steers back toward savory elements, with a briny olive accent lending a mouthwatering quality to the finish around mineral-tinged tannins. Distinctive. Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah. Drink now. 1,500 cases made.
