WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Our house red blend, known for its approachability. This wine is smooth up front, balanced with some soft acidity and grip from the tannins. Aged for 10 months in oak, 20% in American oak/ 80% in 2nd year French oak. Bright, ruby to garnet in appearance, moderate body, notes of cedar, dark berries, herbs on the nose. On the palate baked strawberries, fine tannins, and dried oregano. This is the perfect wine for any summer barbecue.
52% Cabernet Franc, 48% Merlot
Food Pairings: Gourmet burger, roasted root vegetables or pan seared duck breast with pan sauce.
