WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The aromas on this wine are complex with brandied cherries, red currant liqueur, iron, cola, fresh tilled earth, fallen leaves, toasted Herbes de Provence, and fresh tobacco leaf. This wine can sometimes skew toward a rich, palate-coating style, but in this relatively cool year it almost comes off as more of a serious, drinkable Loire-style Cabernet Franc, such as Chinon. Drinking deliciously now, it will also age nicely for 7-10 years
