WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The MIXT blend is made up of undisclosed amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah for a Rhône-like style with sprinkles of California ripe tannins. With Dr. Paul Skinners viticultural work around Napa (and the world), his connections have allowed the Pride Mountain team to make his wines for decades. A little earth, a little fruit, a little oak adds up to a lot of great tasing wine. Leather, plums, figs, cocoa powder and toast… And little tannin. A lot of balance.
TASTING NOTES:
Plush and ample, this distinctive red blend brings together the mouthwatering friendliness of Zinfandel, serious structure of Petite Sirah, energy of Syrah, and overall integrity of Cabernet Sauvignon. Powdery fine while abundant tannins coat the mouth, lingering into a long finish.
