WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Diamond Dust Vineyard produces wines that are bold, velvety, and soft with intense fruit flavors and medium acidity. Red cherry, blueberry and plum are words used to describe this Pomerol style of Merlot. This wine is loved for its elegance, intensity, and complexity. The Merlot grape also adds incredible floral aromatics to the wine which follows onto the palate.
Pairs well with burgers, Italian sausage and many pasta dishes.
Blend: 95% Zinfandel, 5% Petite Sirah
TASTING NOTES:
The nose of this expressive Merlot explodes with blueberry, raspberry and black plum aromas, while the palate shows a keen balance between juicy berry-lime acidity and plush tannins.
