WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years
Visual appearance: A beautiful deep ruby red color
At nose: Complex of black fruits with hints of garrigue.
On the palate: Fleshy and complex with a beautiful structure with melted tannins that coat the mid-palate. The finish is long with aromas of black fruits.
TASTING NOTES:
Almond and violet notes over a core of plum fruits. This is not hugely concentrated, but there’s great energy, with fresh, cleansing tannins. Well balanced, with good length and a real sense of drinkability and energy. Savoury, with fine, furry tannins. A Châteauneuf you really want to drink, but it will age well too. Really elegant. Produced with part-destemmed fruit. No new oak used.
