WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
This wine has a complex nose with notes of plum, blueberry, tobacco, India ink, nutmeg, clove, and cedar. On the mid-palate, there are flavors of plum, cherry, licorice, tobacco, blueberry, and blackberry. It has very soft, fine-grain tannins that lead to a long finish of black licorice, plum, and cherry.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of blood plums, graphite, dried herbs, and bitter chocolate. The palate is full-bodied with softly integrated tannins and balanced acidity, giving flavors of blackberries, cedar, potpourri, and dried herbs. Made from 47% cabernet sauvignon, 40% cabernet franc, 11% merlot and 2% petit verdot.

Based on 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot, the 2022 Arise Proprietary Red reveals blackberry, cassis, graphite, and leather nuances, with a kiss of chocolate adding complexity. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has ripe tannins and a juicy, lively style that will drink nicely over the coming 10-15 years.
