WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Elegant and fine nose. Nuances of dark berries, ripe black plums, blood oranges, dried medicinal herbs, violets, roses and wilted irises. Sweet to dark spicy notes of cardamom and liquorice. The palate is fresh and savoury. Rightly taut with tannin, outlining the wine’s aptitude for ageing. Lingering finish. Excellent immediately, but it will surprise you after a few years in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES:
The 2020 Boca Adele is essentially the best cask in the cellar. It offers a compelling mix of wild dark cherry, tobacco, cedar, mint, leather and spice-all beautifully amplified. The 2020 is a large-scaled, dramatic Boca that delivers the goods, big time. A whole range of floral and savory accents resonate on the close. This is gorgeous stuff. What a great, great wine.
