WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
New Vineyard Alert! Whilst we still have the Polish Hill River Dolcetto, we've also blended in some Langhorne Creek fruit and by golly, it is some epic fruit. Real Langhe style tannin from this vineyard to match the juicier blue fruited Clare. Hands down the best Dolcetto we've ever made. Juicy blueberries, fresh black cherry, layered with spices and some crushed herbs, enveloped by the most beautiful web of fine tannin. Comforting and complex all at once - hate to hate, very easy to love!
TASTING NOTES:
Plump blueberry fruit is tinged in more reductive notes like saddle, bone-broth and smoked meat aromas. Some lovely spice and floral notes creep in, too. The palate is mouthfilling, with muscular, raspy tannins that creep in halfway through. Drink slightly chilled with a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs.
